3-Day Murchison Falls National Park Safari

Murchison Falls National Park sits on the shore of Lake Albert, in northwest Uganda. It’s known for Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop. Park wildlife includes elephants and hippos, and there are chimpanzees in the Kaniyo Pabidi mahogany forest.

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Depart Kampala, drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, continue to Murchison Falls NP. Visit the top of the falls. Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 2: Early morning game drive (lions, giraffes, elephants), afternoon Nile boat cruise to the base of the falls.

  • Day 3: Optional nature walk or birding; return to Kampala via Masindi.
